The Langbath lakes are one of my favourite places to visit when I fancy a leisurely and relaxing walk. The two mountain lakes offer relaxation and enjoyment of nature in any weather and at any time of year! ❄️
The circular walk around the front and rear Langbathsee lakes is ideal for all fitness and age groups. It is not for nothing that this is a very popular place, travelled to by nature lovers from all over Austria. It is therefore not uncommon for the car parks to fill up relatively quickly. It's definitely worth getting up early here! ☀️🚗
What makes the Langbath lakes so special?
The Langbath lakes are unique every time I visit. You can't experience all weather conditions and moods - every time I come here, it's as if today is something special. Sure, you might think I'm exaggerating - after all, it's „only“ two mountain lakes - but come and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed! ✨
What's also special is the easily accessible forest trail - it's suitable for absolutely every fitness level! 👟💪🏼
What I also find really special is that you can simply take wonderful photos here. The photos of nature are always breathtaking - the Langbathsee allows you to take fantastic photos even with unskilled photography skills. 📸💚 So if you're looking for a great photo spot surrounded by nature, you'll definitely get your money's worth here! 🏞️🤩 Btw: did you know that the main photo of muat's drawig is also from Langbathsee? I took this fantastic photo with my drone. It's not a wintry picture, but I didn't want to withhold this fun fact from you.

The journey can only be made by car or Traunseetaxi. There is no public transport here. 🚙🗺️ Please note: The car parks are now subject to charges!
Conclusion on the Langbathsee circular trail
As already mentioned several times, the Langbathsee is not only a favourite place for tourists, but also for locals. My Insta feed is also full to bursting with a wide variety of Langbathsee pictures and reels - because you can also combine the Langbathsee lakes perfectly with many other tours! 🫶📱📸
PS: As this is often a point of discussion: Which direction do you always go on a circuit? For me it's only clockwise! 😂
