Front Food in Linz: fast food rethought - vegan burgers and more!

Once again, we were in the mood for fast food - what could be better than front food in Linz?

We all know them - the fast food outlets round the corner. Nice and hearty burgers, delicious and salty fries, followed by a blueberry muffin with a cappuccino. No, I'm not talking about Mäcci today, but about Front Food in Linz. 🦸🏻‍♀️

Front Food lives its concept classically according to the motto: fast food rethought.

So if you fancy a burger 🍔, kebab🥙 , bosna, hot dog etc. and want to avoid meat and animal products completely, Front Food in Linz is the place for you!

I had a kebab this time - in the next few lines I'll tell you a bit more about the restaurant near Linzer Landstraße and about our last visit.

The vegan fast food operator in Linz has an incredibly great and large selection of different dishes.

From many different burger variations to kebabs, bosna, hot dogs, salads, hot & cold drinks - all completely vegan and with no animal products at all. 🌱

You can order either at the counter or at the self-service terminal 📱 directly at the entrance. You can then wait at your seat until your order is ready for collection - you can see this on the info screen 📺 in the seating area.

In addition to lemonade and cola, there were also organic juices and hot drinks with oat milk. I can definitely recommend the oat cappuccino!

Should I book a table for my visit to Front Food in Linz?

No - a reservation is neither necessary nor required. Simply go to the restaurant, order, sit down, enjoy and have fun. Sounds simple? It is.

Directions and location:

Anyone familiar with my posts will know by now that we travelled here by train 🚂 🙂 From the main train station, we walked along the main road and if you turn right at the main square by the Vapiano, you're almost there.

Of course you can also take the tram to the main square.

If you are travelling by car 🚗, there are various parking options and car parks in the surrounding area, which can be used for a fee.

Furnishings and style of Front Food Linz

I really like the furnishing style with the dark furniture and the decoration. It fits in perfectly with the fast food restaurant and is also appealing.

The first impression was a little gloomy and surprising, as I had imagined a completely different style. But once you sit down and take it all in, you enjoy the cosy atmosphere combined with the great food.

Staff and waiting time - how long does the meal take?

The process is very classic in the style of a fast food restaurant. Order at the counter or touch terminal and pick it up yourself. So I can't rate the staff here, as it's a self-service shop.

The time it took to order was very good - we ordered, found a seat and within 5 minutes our food was ready to be picked up.

Everything works great! 🙌

My conclusion from the last visit

My girlfriend had tried the Big Chiiesy this time - for me it was the kebab. We treated ourselves to chips and nuggets together. 🍟

For dessert, I had a blueberry muffin 🧁 and a cappuccino.

The burgers at Front Food in Linz are really great - the recipe is simply ingenious and the burgers taste just as they should - really good!

The kebab I tried for the first time this time was also very good. It doesn't taste like the classic meat kebab I remember from back then, but it doesn't have to! It was really good and you savoured every bite.

The blueberry muffin and the oat cappuccino ☕️ at the end rounded off the whole thing and our craving for hearty fast food was also satisfied.
